Baseball Team Loses 12-6 At Montclair State Despite Three Home Runs

Little Falls, N.J. -- The Bombers (24-12) dropped a 12-6 game at Montclair State Saturday. Junior outfielder Eric Ferguson (Columbia/East Greenbush), junior catcher Rob Raux (Ilion/Frankfort) and senior first baseman Jason Friedman (Whitney T. Young/Chicago, Ill.) each homered for Ithaca.

The host Red Hawks scored eight runs over their final four at-bats to pull away from a 4-3 lead.

Ferguson finished with three of Ithaca's six hits. Senior outfielder Jeremy Peters (Thomas R. Proctor/Utica) scored two runs and Raux drove in two.

The Bombers finish their regular season Sunday with a 1 p.m. game at Montclair State. NCAA playoff pairings will be announced Sunday night/Monday morning.
